  • 2011:
    • Monaco Grand Prix Attack: Suffering from palladium poisoning, Tony Stark appoints Pepper Potts as CEO of Stark Industries. Russian physicist Ivan Vanko (Whiplash) attacks Stark in Monaco. Stark and James Rhodes (War Machine) defeat Vanko and Justin Hammer's hijacked drones at the Stark Expo.
    • The Harlem Rampage: General Ross confronts Bruce Banner at Culver University. Injected with a flawed serum copy and Banner's blood, Emil Blonsky mutates into the Abomination in Harlem. Hulk defeats Abomination, and Banner escapes to South America.
    • Thor's Exile: Odin strips Thor of his power and banishes him to New Mexico. Loki usurps the throne of Asgard and sends the Destroyer to Earth. Thor proves his worthiness, defeats the Destroyer, and breaks the Bifrost to stop Loki's attack on Jotunheim.
    • Captain America Awakens: S.H.I.E.L.D. survey teams in Greenland recover the frozen Valkyrie hull and Steve Rogers, who awakens in modern-day Times Square.
    • Hank McCoy (Beast) takes an official position as the Department of Mutant Affairs Cabinet Secretary to push for diplomatic relations.
  • 2012:
    • The Invasion of New York: Loki strikes a deal with Thanos to steal the Tesseract from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Joint Dark Energy facility. S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury officially activates the Avengers Initiative. The Avengers assemble onboard the Helicarrier and defend Manhattan against the Chitauri horde. Loki is captured, and Thor transports him and the Tesseract back to Asgard.
    • Trask & Transigen Shadow Funding: Horrified by alien threats during the New York invasion, rogue factions within the U.S. government quietly re-fund Bolivar Trask’s legacy research in the shadows as a global defense contingency. Concurrently, corporate biotech firm Alkali-Transigen—led by Dr. Zander Rice—secures clandestine military contracts to harvest genetic material for bio-engineered soldier initiatives.
    • David Haller & Shadow King: Following a suicide attempt, David Haller is institutionalized at Clockworks Psychiatric Hospital, meeting Lenny Busker and Sydney "Syd" Barrett. Syd and David swap bodies due to Syd's powers. Rescued from Division 3 by the Summerland mutants, David realizes his "illness" is a parasitic infection by the Shadow King (Amahl Farouk). Summerland exorcises Farouk from David, but Farouk possesses Oliver Bird and escapes.
  • 2013:
    • The Extremis Crisis & Stark Surgery: Scientist Aldrich Killian uses the explosive Extremis virus for terrorist attacks framed under "The Mandarin." Stark and James Rhodes stop Killian at the Norco tanker dock after President Matthew Ellis is kidnapped. Stark executes the "Clean Slate Protocol," destroying his suits, and undergoes surgery to remove the shrapnel near his heart.
    • The Convergence & The Aether: Astrophysicist Jane Foster ingests the Aether (Reality Stone) during the alignment of the Nine Realms. Thor teams up with Loki to extract the Aether and defeats Malekith in Greenwich. The Aether is entrusted to Taneleer Tivan (The Collector) on Knowhere.
    • David Haller returns after a one-year absence; Summerland aligns with Division 3 to search for Farouk's original physical body. David embraces his dark persona, breaks away from Division 3, and escapes with a recreated Lenny.
  • 2014:
    • Fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. & Project Insight: S.H.I.E.L.D. prepares to launch three suborbital Helicarriers linked to Project Insight. Captain America and Natasha Romanoff expose Hydra's infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D., leak all classified files to the public, and crash the Helicarriers into the Triskelion.
    • Rise of Street Vigilantes: In the vacuum left by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s collapse and the reconstruction of Hell's Kitchen, Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) builds a criminal empire. Blind attorney Matt Murdock begins operating as Daredevil.
    • Guardians of the Galaxy Form: Peter Quill steals the Orb (Power Stone) from Morag and forms the Guardians of the Galaxy to destroy Ronan the Accuser on Xandar. Shortly after, the Guardians defeat Ego the Living Planet.
    • The NASA Rescue & Cosmic Flare: The X-Men execute a high-stakes NASA shuttle rescue. Jean Grey absorbs a cosmic solar flare to shield her teammates, shattering Xavier's 1995 psychic blocks and unlocking her Phoenix potential.
    • The White House Attack: Brainwashed via mind-controlling neural fluid derived from Colonel William Stryker’s son (Jason/Mutant 143), Nightcrawler teleports into the Oval Office and attempts to assassinate the U.S. President, leaving a message demanding mutant freedom.
    • Assault on the X-Mansion: Using the attack as justification, Stryker’s covert strike team raids the Xavier Institute while Logan is house-sitting. Logan, Rogue, Iceman, Colossus, and Pyro help rescue the younger students, but Stryker captures several youths and retrieves critical Cerebro component blueprints.
    • The Dam Breach at Alkali Lake: Stryker captures Professor Xavier and Cyclops, using Jason to manipulate Xavier into operating a duplicate "Dark Cerebro" to telepathically wipe out all mutants. Magneto and Mystique form a temporary truce with the X-Men to stop Stryker. As the Alkali Lake dam collapses, Jean uses her newly magnified powers to hold back the floodwaters, sacrificing her physical form to get the Blackbird airborne before submerging into the lake.
    • Inception of the X-23 Project: Following William Stryker’s death at Alkali Lake, Dr. Zander Rice retrieves genetic samples of Logan (Wolverine) from the ruined facility. Alkali-Transigen initiates Project X-23 in a secure Mexico facility, artificially inseminating surrogate mothers to incubate genetically enhanced mutant children as living weapons.
    • Mercenary Wade Wilson meets Vanessa Carlysle; they fall in love and become engaged before Wade is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
    • David Haller travels back to 1980 to execute Farouk before Farouk infects his infant self. A peace pact reached between Xavier and Farouk resets the timeline, giving David a fresh start.
  • 2015:
    • Creation of Ultron & Sokovia Crisis: The Avengers assault Baron Strucker's Hydra fortress in Sokovia, retrieving Loki's Scepter. Attempting to build an automated defense network, Stark and Banner accidentally spawn Ultron. The Avengers and Vision destroy Ultron in Sokovia, though Pietro Maximoff perishes and the city is destroyed.
    • Ant-Man Emergence: Scott Lang is released from prison and recruited by Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne to stop Darren Cross from weaponizing the Pym Particle (Yellowjacket) for lingering HYDRA cells.
    • Unsealing of SSR Archive Files: Leaked S.H.I.E.L.D. databases publicly unseal legacy 1940s SSR files regarding Peggy Carter, Howard Stark, and the Soviet Leviathan program, revealing decades of clandestine government experimentation.
    • The Hounds Program: Bolivar Trask, working covertly behind the scenes in the wake of Sokovia, quietly initiates his shadow-funded Hounds Program.
    • Birth of Laura (X-23): Laura is born inside Alkali-Transigen's Mexico facility, possessing Logan's regenerative healing factor and dual retractable adamantium claws in her hands and feet.
    • Deadpool Origin: Wade Wilson enters "The Workshop" run by Ajax (Francis Freeman). The tortured experimentation triggers his latent mutation, unlocking a regenerative healing factor that cures his cancer but permanently disfigures him. Wade escapes, takes the name Deadpool, and hunts down Ajax.
    • The X-Men mourn Jean Grey; Scott Summers withdraws into deep isolation while Logan stays at the mansion as a senior instructor.
  • 2016:
    • The Sokovia Accords & Avengers Civil War: 117 nations ratify the Sokovia Accords. A terrorist bombing in Vienna kills King T'Chaka of Wakanda; Bucky Barnes is framed by Helmut Zemo. Tony Stark recruits Peter Parker. Pro-Accords and anti-Accords Avengers clash at an airport in Leipzig, permanently fracturing the team. Hank McCoy uses his diplomatic post to navigate mutant involvement in the Accords.
    • Street-Level Coalition (The Defenders): Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand team up in New York City to defeat the Hand. Their operations uncover underground mutant safehouses operating under Hell's Kitchen.
    • Opening of Wakanda: T'Challa claims the throne of Wakanda, defeats Erik Killmonger, and reveals Wakanda's advanced technology and resources to the global public.
    • Master of the Mystic Arts: World-renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange suffers severe nerve damage in a vehicle crash, studies the mystic arts at Kamar-Taj, and uses the Eye of Agamotto (Time Stone) to trap Dormammu in a time loop, saving Earth.
    • Alkali Lake Rebirth: Scott Summers tracks residual energy signatures to Alkali Lake and witnesses Jean’s physical rebirth from the water. Jean's awakening Phoenix power flares out of control; her psychic blast critically injures Scott, knocking him into a deep coma.
    • Tragedy at Red Hook: Overwhelmed and hunted by shape-shifting D'Bari aliens, Jean flees to her childhood home. The X-Men confront her; in a panic, Jean releases a telekinetic shockwave that severely injures Mystique (who begins healing via accelerated cellular regeneration). Jean destroys the D'Bari threat and retreats into hiding.
    • The Cure Announcement: Worthington Labs announces an X-Gene "cure" synthesized from Leech, igniting widespread mutant unrest and Brotherhood raids. Rogue begins secretly considering taking the Cure due to the isolating nature of her powers.
    • Deadpool corners Ajax on a highway bridge. Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead arrive from the X-Mansion to recruit Wade. Wade rescues Vanessa and kills Ajax despite Colossus' objections.
  • 2017:
    • The Battle of Alcatraz: Hank McCoy joins Logan, Storm, Iceman, Shadowcat, and Colossus to defend Worthington Labs on Alcatraz Island against Magneto's invading Brotherhood army. Hank injects Magneto with the Cure, stripping him of his magnetic abilities.
    • Jean's Final Sacrifice: Jean's Phoenix power spirals completely out of control, tearing Alcatraz Island apart. Logan uses his healing factor to push through the telekinetic flaying force to reach Jean. In a brief moment of lucidity, Jean begs Logan to end her nightmare. Heartbroken, Logan stabs her with his claws, killing her physical body to save the world.
    • Xavier's Survival: Charles Xavier's consciousness quietly survives by transferring his mind into the brain-dead body of his comatose twin brother, hidden in a private facility overseen by Dr. Moira MacTaggert.
    • Roxxon Gulf Energy Incident: A catastrophic rig collapse in New Orleans releases strange dark-matter ambient energy (manifesting powers in Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen), prompting Roxxon Energy to invest heavily in covert defense contracting.
    • Spider-Man & The Vulture: Peter Parker balances high school life with stopping Adrian Toomes (The Vulture), who is trafficking salvaged Chitauri weaponry across New York.
    • Ragnarök: Odin passes away in Norway, releasing Hela. Thor, Loki, Valkyrie, and Hulk escape Sakaar and initiate Ragnarök, sacrificing Asgard to destroy Hela while refugees escape aboard the Statesman.
  • 2018:
    • The Great Decimation (The Blip): Thanos devastates Xandar, collects all six Infinity Stones, and snaps his fingers, wiping out half of all life across the entire universe.
    • Quantum Realm Rescue: Right as the Snap occurs, Hank Pym and Hope van Dyne successfully rescue Janet van Dyne from the Quantum Realm before being turned to dust, leaving Scott Lang trapped inside.
    • The Castle Campaign: Frank Castle (The Punisher) dismantles the military conspiracy behind his family's assassination right before the Snap destabilizes global law enforcement.
    • Deadpool & Cable: Vanessa Carlysle is killed in her home. Devastated, Deadpool is taken in by Colossus. Deadpool, Cable, Domino, and the surviving X-Men prevent young Russell Collins (Firefist) from murdering the headmaster at the Essex House.
    • Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio repair Cable's time-travel device for Deadpool, who travels back to save Vanessa, save Peter Wisdom, execute the 1979 Weapon XI variant, and kill actor Ryan Reynolds.
  • 2019:
    • Grief & Exile (The Tokyo Excursion): Haunted and self-isolated by the trauma of killing Jean Grey at Alcatraz, Logan abandons the X-Men and travels to Tokyo. He briefly loses his healing factor to Dr. Green, defeats Ichirō Yashida's Silver Samurai armor, and regrows his bone claws, eventually finding inner peace.
    • The Xavier & Magneto Airport Recruitment: While preparing to leave an airport in Japan, Logan is confronted by a fully restored Magneto (whose powers slowly returned as the temporary cure wore off) and a resurrected Charles Xavier (walking in his twin brother's body). They warn him of a dark, rising threat to mutantkind—a rapid resurgence in Sentinel production—asking him to help rebuild the X-Men.
    • The Five-Year Gap Begins: Clint Barton operates as Ronin; Carol Danvers rescues Tony Stark and Nebula from deep space; Tony Stark retires with Pepper Potts to raise their daughter Morgan.
    • The X-24 Project Advancement: Harnessing Blip-era societal displacement, Alkali-Transigen accelerates its covert military engineering. Dr. Zander Rice begins development on X-24—a mindless, fully grown adult clone of Logan—while Donald Pierce and his cybernetic Reavers are brought on to enforce facility security.
  • 2020:
    • Global Pandemic & Mutant Scapegoating: Global civilization fractures under the combined trauma of the Blip and the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Mass global panic leads media outlets, political figures, and anti-mutant groups to circulate conspiracy theories framing the pandemic as a bioweapon born from catastrophic mutant gene instability and ambient cosmic fallout intertwined with the Decimation.
    • Escalation at Transigen: Unaffected by the conspiracy theories, Alkali-Transigen uses the global lockdown conditions to test their bio-engineered Reavers and refine X-24's combat programming in isolation.
